KIA Pakistan has fueled speculation about the possible launch of an updated Sportage L after releasing a teaser on its official social media platforms.
Although the company has not revealed the name of the upcoming vehicle, the teaser prominently features a rear lighting design that closely resembles the facelifted KIA Sportage L already available in several international markets.
The teaser has generated considerable interest among automotive enthusiasts and prospective SUV buyers, with many expecting KIA to introduce the facelifted Sportage L in Pakistan in the near future.
KIA launched the fifth-generation Sportage L in Pakistan in February 2025, offering the SUV in Alpha, front-wheel-drive (FWD) and hybrid variants.
If the updated model is introduced locally, it is expected to feature refreshed exterior styling, a redesigned cabin, an upgraded infotainment system and enhanced safety and driver-assistance technologies.
The facelifted Sportage L was first unveiled globally in late 2024, bringing notable cosmetic and technological upgrades, including redesigned front and rear fascias, new LED lighting elements, a modernized interior and improved connectivity features.
KIA Pakistan has yet to announce an official launch date, pricing, available variants or technical specifications for the teased vehicle. It also remains unclear whether both petrol and hybrid versions will be offered in the local market.
While the company has not officially confirmed the model’s identity, the teaser has strengthened expectations that an announcement regarding the updated Sportage L could be made in the coming weeks.
