A tragic accident took place in the Zarakhel area of Karak district, where a fire broke out in a petrol drum kept inside the house, killing one child and seriously injuring two others.
According to the police, a petrol drum in a room of the house of a man named Roshan suddenly caught fire, which engulfed the entire room as soon as it was seen. As a result of the accident, 7-year-old Ahmed died on the spot, while 9-year-old Akash was severely burned and was immediately shifted to the hospital for medical attention.
Police say that there is a petrol unit near the affected house, from where some quantity of petrol was kept in a drum inside the house. This heartbreaking incident occurred due to the fire in the same petrol. A room in the house was completely destroyed by fire, and the police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
