Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has sent the list of visitors to the jail authorities, as a meeting with founder PTI Imran Khan is expected today.
The party has sent the list of visitors to the jail authorities for the expected meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is imprisoned in Adiala Jail today. The meeting will be held in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
The list sent by PTI coordinator Salman Akram Raja includes the names of party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, Ali Zaman, Murtaza Turi, Malik Ahad Awan and Rana Abdul Manan.
According to sources, PTI leaders and lawyers are expected to arrive at Adiala Jail today, Tuesday, while Imran Khan’s sisters are also expected to reach the jail for the meeting.
Sources say that the prison administration will complete the security and other arrangements for the meeting in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations, while the final approval and schedule of the meeting will be decided by the prison authorities.
