PESHAWAR: Gold rates in the Peshawar Sarafa Bazaar edged higher on Tuesday , July 21, 2026 morning, in line with firmness in the international market.

According to the Peshawar Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs. 424,200 to Rs. 424,500 per tola. 10 grams of 24K gold was quoted at Rs. 363,690 to Rs. 363,950, while per gram stood at Rs. 35,895 to Rs.

35,919.For other categories, 22-karat gold was being sold at Rs. 388,958 to Rs. 389,236 per tola. Market sources said the national 24K rate was also trading around Rs. 424,536 per tola, reflecting an increase of Rs. 300 from the previous session. Independent market data placed Peshawar’s 24K gold at Rs. 36,493 per gram, 22K at Rs. 33,451.92 per gram, and 18K at Rs. 27,369.75 per gram as of July 21.

Traders reported that buying activity remained steady, with most demand coming from jewelry customers. Bullion dealers said prices are closely tracking global trends, where international gold was trading near $4,018 per ounce on Monday.Analysts noted that gold continues to be closely watched in Peshawar as both a traditional investment and a hedge against economic uncertainty.
