ISLAMABAD (Azmatullah): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a written order regarding a petition filed against the non-signing of legal documents by former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The court has formally issued notices to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, the Inspector General (IG) of Prisons, Punjab, and the Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Rawalpindi, seeking their detailed responses at the next hearing.
During the proceedings, Imran Khan’s counsel, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, informed the court that the power of attorney documents had been dispatched via TCS, yet no response or acknowledgement had been received. Following these developments, the court has adjourned the hearing of the case until May 25, 2026.
