MARDAN: A man was killed and another sustained serious injuries after a marble-laden truck overturned near Bagh-e-Jibran on the Rustam Buner Road in Mardan, Rescue 1122 said.
According to Rescue 1122, the deceased was identified as 25-year-old Irshad, while 42-year-old Lajbar suffered critical injuries in the accident.
Rescue officials said a medical team and ambulance were dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving the emergency call.
Rescue personnel launched relief operations, provided first aid to the injured, and shifted both the injured man and the deceased to a nearby hospital.
Initial information suggests that the victims were travelling to Buner at the time of the accident. Both individuals were residents of Buner. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
