ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has reshuffled its senior officers, transferring the Director of the Peshawar Zone and appointing a new officer in his place, according to an official notification issued.

Under the notification, Inam Ullah Khan Gandapur, Director (Investigation) (BS-20), has been transferred from the post of Director, FIA Peshawar Zone to the Directorate of the Anti-Corruption Wing (ACW), FIA Headquarters, Islamabad. The transfer follows the retirement of Syed Shahid Hassan, Director, ACW.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Ijaz Khan, Director (PSP/BS-20), has been posted as the new Director, FIA Peshawar Zone. He was previously serving at FIA Headquarters, Islamabad.

The notification states that the transfers and postings take effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.

KP Information Department Announces Transfers and New Appointments

Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has issued a notification regarding transfers and new appointments in the Information and Public Relations Department.

According to the notification, Riaz Ahmed, Director Information (BS-19), has been appointed as Director Information (Coordination). He was previously serving as the Public Relations Officer with the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, Khan Sarwar, Regional Information Officer Swat, has been assigned new responsibilities as Director of Information (Public Relations).

The Information and Public Relations Department said the transfers and appointments have come into immediate effect.

The notification was issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information and Public Relations Department.
