Civil society protest rally was held at Chowk Shaheedan, Mirpur on Monday against the banned organization AAC. Participants raised slogans in support of Pakistan and called for peace and stability in the region.
Addressing the gathering, political and community leaders condemned activities that undermine public order. Assembly candidate Abdul Shakoor Mughal, who also spoke at the rally, urged the authorities to take strict legal action against elements involved in acts that threaten public peace and state stability.
Speakers at the event expressed solidarity with state institutions and stressed that maintaining law and order was essential for the area’s security and development.
The rally concluded peacefully with participants reiterating their commitment to a stable and peaceful Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
