Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, a woman injured in an acid attack in Quetta, Balochistan, has been admitted to a private hospital in Karachi, where she is receiving treatment.

She is currently being treated at the Aga Khan Hospital. Hospital sources report that she has sustained 13 percent burns due to the acid, which has affected the area around both eyes; however, her vision remains intact.

Upon her arrival at Aga Khan Hospital, doctors conducted an initial examination and various tests. Plastic surgeons and eye specialists have completed their evaluations, noting burn wounds on her face, abdomen, and right hand.

Dr. Mah Noor has been moved to the Special Care Unit and will be re-evaluated after 24 hours. Sources indicate that her condition is satisfactory and her health is improving, raising hopes for a speedy recovery.

According to hospital updates, Dr. Mah Noor is now out of danger. A team of expert doctors has conducted a comprehensive examination, confirming that all her vital organs are functioning well and her condition is stable. While the corneas of both eyes have been slightly affected, her vision is completely safe.

The treatment for Dr. Mah Noor will continue under the supervision of an ophthalmologist, with teams of other specialists, including plastic surgeons, in constant communication with the medical staff. Additionally, the Balochistan government is actively monitoring her treatment.
