Security forces killed 17 terrorists from the group Fitna-ul-Hindustan during operations in various districts of Balochistan.
According to the ISPR, these operations were conducted following a train incident on May 24, which prompted a series of intelligence-based actions in the districts of Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar, and Kech.
The statement reported that security forces successfully targeted several terrorist hideouts during the operations. After intense exchanges of fire, they eliminated 17 terrorists associated with the Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Hindustan. The ISPR noted that these terrorists had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Additionally, arms, ammunition, a significant amount of explosives, and ready-made improvised bombs were recovered from the slain terrorists.
Ongoing clearance and search operations aim to fully eradicate the terrorist presence in the area. The statement said that in line with the vision of ‘Commitment to Stability’ approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign with full determination to eliminate externally sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
