The Modi government has dealt a major setback to the satirical movement “Kakroch Janata Party”, which created a storm on social media after the controversial remarks of the Chief Justice of India, as the founder’s Twitter account was blocked by the Modi government.

The party’s founder, Abhijeet Deepke, has confirmed that his X (Twitter) account has been blocked or restricted in India.According to Indian media, this action came after this satirical movement even surpassed the ruling party BJP, on Instagram, and its number of followers crossed one crore.

The movement started after the statement of the Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, in which he allegedly likened unemployed youth to “cockroaches”. Although the Chief Justice later clarified that his words were misinterpreted, by then the youth had launched a powerful digital campaign under this name in protest.

The movement’s founder, Abhijeet, says that in addition to closing the account, attempts are also being made to hack his Instagram account. According to international media, the movement has become a symbol of the economic pressure and political unrest of Indian youth, whose growing popularity has caused a stir in the halls of Indian power.
