The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Peshawar chapter currently faces internal conflicts because Deputy General Secretary Waseem Zaman chose to resign from his position to District President Irfan Saleem.

Zaman expressed his dissatisfaction with district leadership through his resignation letter because they failed to manage the situation which involved alleged abduction events that took place on February 10. The district president failed to provide Zaman and his family with necessary support and guidance during the abduction incident, according to his statement.

Zaman announced his decision to resign because the district president failed to check on him after he returned home. The district committee will receive no communication from him because he intends to protest through a boycott of all official calls and requests.
