ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has established a high-level committee to address the issue of One-Constitution Avenue. The committee will be chaired by Azam Nazir Tarar, the Minister for Law and Justice, and will include Talal Chaudhry, the Minister of State for Interior, as well as the Secretary of the Cabinet and the Secretary of Commerce as members.
The committee is tasked with reviewing the entire situation over the next week and will submit a comprehensive report to the Prime Minister. During this period, any affected individuals will have the opportunity to present their objections to the committee, which will listen to all parties involved without discrimination.
No actions will be taken by the Islamabad administration or the CDA until the Prime Minister reaches a final decision on this matter. The Prime Minister has instructed the formation of this special committee to ensure that justice is served regarding One-Constitution Avenue.
