BUNER: Bilal, the son of a Naib Qasid (peon) at the District Commissioner’s office in Buner, has secured the top position in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the 18th position nationwide in the highly competitive Civil Services Examination (CSS).

His success story has been regarded as a shining light for other students because of the efforts he put in to reach his goal. It has been observed that despite having such a poor father, Bilal managed to score so high in exams and thus, his hard work should be an encouragement for other students coming from poor families.

Commenting on Bilal’s success, a resident told the media, “We have got a lot of pride from his success. We all take a lot of pride in him as his hard work is paying off.”

Bilal is all set to be a part of the nation-building process after securing a coveted job in the government. Bilal’s father, who is currently serving as a Naib Qasid in the DC office, felt immense pride in his son and stated that although they came from humble beginnings, it was possible for anyone to succeed through sheer determination.

Historic achievement: Bajaur’s Muneeba Hussain achieves success in CSS

Similarly, Muneeba Hussain, a young girl from Bajaur, has created history by achieving success in the Civil Services Examination (CSS), adding prestige to both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal districts of the province.

Being the daughter of Dr. Mohammad Arshad Hussain, Muneeba scored success in the CSS examination during her first attempt at the age of 24 and got a prestigious place in the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).

Muneeba completed her education up to a BS degree in English Linguistics from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Peshawar and comes from Wara Mamond Tehsil, Bajaur District. Muneeba has become the first lady from her district to join PAS, a great achievement that deserves praise from her community.

Dr. Arshad Hussain, Muneeba ‘s father, who is a practicing doctor himself, told local media outlet that Muneeba had made up her mind to join the CSS right on the day she entered college. “She put in a lot of hard work, and she always received full support from her parents, particularly her grandfather, who used to pray for her success,” he added.

Hard work always pays off was another thing pointed out by Dr. Arshad. “In the modern world of science and technology, if children pay attention to their studies, then success is bound to follow,” he further remarked.

Muneeba’s success has shown how women can succeed even in those parts of society where there is little scope for them. It has set a new benchmark for future generations as well.
