ISLAMABAD: The district administration of Islamabad has given a very significant advisory for citizens stating that there is no dearth of petrol and diesel in the city.

The Deputy Commissioner has informed citizens that although some petrol stations have faced interruptions because of the ban on heavy transportation, the supply of fuel is being met immediately through petrol tankers. The authorities have also stated that there is enough stock of petrol and diesel at the petrol stations of the city, and there is nothing to worry about.

Assistant Commissioners are keeping a watch on the availability of fuel in their particular jurisdiction, and the District Commissioner of Islamabad is keeping track of all of this through a state-of-the-art dashboard that keeps a record of the fuel availability and its distribution across Islamabad.

Citizens were also advised not to take note of rumours concerning fuel shortages, as the disruption at only a couple of petrol stations was because of logistical issues, and everything was being sorted out.

However, it is important to note that these actions are only some of the initiatives taken by the local government to ensure the smooth flow of the fuel supply chain. The citizens are advised to follow updates from credible sources and refrain from sharing any misinformation.
