DHAKA: Sharif Usman Hadi, a leading leader of the student movement in Bangladesh, was laid to rest at Dhaka University.
According to foreign media reports, Usman Hadi was buried next to national poet Qazi Nazrul Islam at Dhaka University. According to the spokesperson of the Sharif Inqilab Mancha, Usman Hadi was laid to rest next to national poet Qazi Nazrul Islam at the request of his family.

It should be noted that the funeral prayers of 32-year-old Usman Hadi were offered after Zuhr prayers on Manik Mia Avenue, adjacent to the main mosque of Dhaka University. The body will not be allowed to be seen at the funeral.
Dhaka University Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed, while talking to the media on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, said that the decision to bury Usman Hadi next to the grave of Qazi Nazrul Islam was taken at an emergency online meeting of the Dhaka University Syndicate at 10:30 pm after two requests received from the Division and the Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUXO).
