The United Arab Emirates has launched a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa to make travel to the country more convenient for visitors planning more than one trip. According to details shared by UAE immigration authorities, the visa allows travelers of all nationalities to visit the UAE multiple times without the need for a local sponsor or host.

The visa is valid for five years and permits a stay of up to 90 days per visit. Visitors can apply for an extension to stay up to 180 days, subject to approval. However, the maximum total stay allowed is 180 days within a 12-month period.

To apply for the visa, applicants will typically need a valid passport, valid health insurance, a return or onward travel ticket, and bank statements showing a minimum balance of US$4,000, or the equivalent in another currency, maintained over the required period.

The visa fee is approximately UAED 3,713, including applicable charges, and applications can be submitted through the UAE’s official immigration platforms. The new visa has been introduced to encourage tourism, support business travel, and further strengthen the UAE’s position as a global destination for visitors from around the world.
