US President Donald Trump has named Pakistan as a preferred location for the upcoming talks with Iran, saying that the next round of talks with Iran could be held in Pakistan.
In an interview with the New York Post, Trump said, “You stay there because something could happen in the next two days, and we are more inclined to go to Pakistan.”
He said that Pakistan is more likely to be chosen for the talks because Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is doing an excellent job.
Trump praised Field Marshal Asim Munir and said that because of his performance, the US is considering going to Pakistan again for the talks.
