Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, has characterised Israel as an aggressor and an occupier that has consistently violated UN resolutions and international law.
Pakistan’s position asserts that Israel attempts to cloak its actions in the narrative of victimhood, while, in reality, it continues to engage in systematic state violence in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.
The country has stated that Israel’s actions clearly violate international law and UN resolutions. Moreover, it has been emphasised that despite Israel’s attempts to justify its actions through a specific narrative, the ground realities tell a different story, with ongoing human rights violations occurring in the Palestinian territories.
