President Trump explained that he reached an agreement through negotiations with the Presidents of both nations. He said that the breakthrough will help calm down tensions existing between the two nations. He added that the temporary ceasefire came about after recent diplomatic negotiations between the Israeli and Lebanese representatives who met in Washington.
President Trump informed that the two presidents are supposed to come to the White House to discuss the issue further. “This would bring us closer to creating peace and stability in the long run,” the US president said. According to Mr. Trump, he ordered his vice-president, J.D. Vance and Secretary of State, Marco Rubio to proceed with their diplomatic activity.
