SWAT: Torrential rain lashed parts of Swat, causing seasonal streams to overflow in several areas and disrupting normal life.
According to local reports, rain-fed streams overflowed in Amankot, Qambar, Shaheed Abad, Udigram and Kanju, with water flowing onto roads and affecting the movement of traffic.
Floodwater also entered several houses and shops in low-lying localities, while authorities warned of a possible increase in the water level of the Swat River if rainfall continues.
Mosques in vulnerable areas announced public advisories, urging residents to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary movement near streams and flood-prone areas.
