LOWER DIR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand has completed preparations for the announcement of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination results, with the official declaration scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 6.
The annual examinations are being held under the supervision of BISE Malakand and according to officials, all preparations for compiling the results have been completed.
While speaking ahead of the results announcement, Chairman of BISE Malakand, Kaleem Ullah said the examinations were conducted in a transparent manner with full security measures to prevent any kind of cheating or other illegal practices during the examinations.
“The board made sure that the examinations were transparent due to the implementation of strict monitoring and anti-cheating measures,” the chairman said.
This year’s matriculation results will be announced in a unique way however, details of the new method have not been revealed by Kaleem Ullah.
Thousands of students are anxiously waiting for the results of the annual examinations held this year.
BISE Peshawar announces Matric annual Exam 2026 results
Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Peshawar has officially announced the results of the Matric Annual Examinations 2026, ending the wait for thousands of students, parents, and teachers.
According to board officials, 97,950 students appeared in the 9th class annual exams this year. 57,847 students* were promoted to the next grade, while the remaining students will need to improve their academic performance.
In the 10th class exams, 95,496 students participated. 66,988 students passed successfully, while 27,788 students failed to secure the required marks.
The figures show a significant number of successful candidates, but educationists say the high number of failures also highlights the need for attention from parents, teachers, and education experts.
Education experts said that exam results reflect not only students’ hard work but also the quality of teaching, parental guidance, and the overall learning environment.
They stressed that to achieve better results, schools must provide quality education, teachers should adopt modern teaching methods, and students should be motivated positively instead of being burdened with stress.
The board administration congratulated all successful students and expressed hope that they will continue their academic success in the future.
Failed students were advised not to lose hope, as failure is not the end but a lesson towards success. With consistent effort, proper planning, and teachers’ guidance, better results can be achieved in future exams, the board said.
Following the announcement, a large number of students checked their results on the board’s website and other online portals. Various educational institutions are also holding ceremonies to appreciate high achievers and encourage other students.
