Terrorists have blown up the most important Lwara bridge with explosives in Fateh Khel area of Bannu, as a result of which the land connection of the vast area with Bannu city has been completely suspended.
This connection bridge was the only major means of transportation for several adjacent settlements, including Noor, Ghora Bakakhel, and Jani Khel, the destruction of which has paralyzed the lives of thousands of citizens. The seriousness of the incident is even greater in that just two days ago, terrorists had targeted the police post ‘Fateh Khel’ located at the same location with a suicide car bomb.
After the destruction of the post, the absence of security personnel there made the work of terrorists easier, who took advantage of this security gap and made the bridge another easy target.
Due to the destruction of the bridge, severe obstacles have now arisen in the transfer of patients to the hospital and the delivery of essential goods, while there is severe fear and panic among the residents of the area due to the changing security situation. Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to track down the elements involved in the sabotage.
