RAWALPINDI: Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field against Pakistan in the second T20 International of the series in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
Sri Lankan captain Kusal Mendis won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first in the second match of the T20I series.
Speaking at the toss, Mendis confirmed that Sri Lanka had made three changes to their playing XI for the match.
Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan, meanwhile, announced one change to the national side, with Salman Mirza replacing Razaullah.
Farhan said the toss was not in his team’s control and that Pakistan were prepared for any situation.
He also highlighted the importance of the powerplay in T20 cricket, noting that the opening overs play a crucial role in determining a team’s performance.
The second T20I is part of the ongoing series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with both sides looking to strengthen their position in the contest.
