QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove remained unhurt when unidentified armed men opened fire on his convoy in the Mastung district. The attack resulted in injuries to six people, including three police personnel.

According to police authorities, the incident took place in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung while the home minister’s convoy was traveling from Kalat to Quetta.

The injured police officials—identified as Nasrullah, Samiullah, and Zakaria—were initially rushed to the Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital. After receiving emergency medical treatment, they were shifted to Quetta. Officials confirmed that the condition of all the injured personnel is out of danger.

Speaking after the attack, Mir Ziaullah Langove dismissed the assault, stating that such cowardly acts cannot crush the morale of the government.

“I cannot be intimidated by these minor firecrackers,” Langove asserted. “Such attacks cannot diminish our resolve and our love for Pakistan. Pakistan was, is, and will always remain vibrant and strong.”
