PESHAWAR: A clash broke out between activists of Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) and Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) at Government College Chowk in Peshawar, leaving several students injured.
According to police and eyewitnesses, the clash erupted following a heated argument between the two student organizations which soon turned into a violent confrontation.
Both sides allegedly used sticks and stones during the fight. As a result of the clash, several students sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police reached the spot soon after the incident and dispersed the students. The situation in the area is now under control, police said.
Police have started an investigation into the incident. No arrests have been made so far. Further investigation is underway.
