BAJAUR: Security forces killed several terrorists affiliated with Fitna-tul-Hindsustan in retaliatory strikes near Bajaur border region.
According to sources, the Afghan Taliban opened unprovoked firing and heavy shelling from across the border, in response to which the Pakistani security forces responded effectively and completely destroyed three important military posts of the Afghan Taliban, while several attackers were killed and injured in the retaliatory action.
Security sources say that the Afghan Taliban’s attempts to target the civilian population are being responded to in full force and the enemy’s guns have been silenced. Tension remains on the border after this incident and the security forces have been put on high alert so that any further misadventure can be responded to immediately.
The local population has expressed satisfaction over the timely and courageous response by the Pakistan Army and declared full solidarity with the armed forces.
