A Saudi Arabian oil tanker has crossed the Strait of Hormuz and headed for Pakistan on Monday morning.
According to the American news agency Bloomberg, a small Saudi Arabian ship carrying oil is heading for Pakistan and has crossed the Strait of Hormuz.
In addition to an oil tanker, these ships also include two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tankers and four other cargo ships, which left for different destinations.
A Bloomberg report said that a total of seven cargo ships left the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, including two LPG tankers and four other cargo ships. The ships sailed to different destinations, indicating that maritime trade activities are continuing despite the ongoing tensions in the region.
It should be remembered that the Strait of Hormuz is the world’s most important energy trade route, through which about 20 percent of the world’s oil passes daily. The arrival of the Saudi oil tanker in Pakistan despite the recent tensions further highlights the energy relations between the two countries.
According to analysts, this development will play an important role in ensuring energy supply for Pakistan, especially at a time when fuel prices are continuously increasing in the global market.
