BANNU (Salman Ali Khan): At least eight people, including four women and young children, were injured in a suspected quadcopter strike by Fitna Al Khwarij in the Kangar Jan Bahadur Arsala area of Mandan, Bannu, on Friday.
According to local sources, the attack targeted the Mitakhel Mandan locality, causing widespread panic among residents. The injured were immediately evacuated to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Medical and local sources identified the victims as Raziullah (21), Nawab Ali (19), Muhammad (17), and Imtiaz (36). The injured also include four females: Masmat Fusal (26), Neelam (4), Basila (21), and Mukhtar Nisa (6).
Following the incident, security and relevant agencies reached the spot to assess the nature of the blast and secure the area.
A large number of residents gathered at the site as authorities began their preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged strike. No official statement has been released regarding the origin of the drone.
