PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has announced the results of the written examination for 105 posts of Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate/Alaqa Qazi (BPS-18) in the Peshawar High Court.
The written examination, advertised under Advertisement No. 03/2026, was conducted from April 21 to April 29, 2026.
According to the KPPSC, a total of 3,097 applications were received for the posts. All applicants were provisionally admitted to the syllabus-based written examination, but only 1,024 candidates appeared.
Of those who appeared, just three candidates qualified for the next stage.
The successful candidates are:
Saba Rasool, daughter of Rasool Khan — South Waziristan/Zone 1
Abdullah Noor, son of Noor Zada — Bajaur/Zone 1
Syed Zahid Hussain, son of Izhar Ullah — Mardan/Zone 2
Subject-wise Performance
The examination results showed significant variation in candidates’ performance across different subjects.
The highest pass rate was recorded in Pashto General and Pashto Essay, where 340 out of 355 candidates passed, representing 96 percent.
In Criminal Law, 803 of 996 candidates passed, while 78 percent passed the paper on Qanun-e-Shahadat 1984 and Pleadings.
The pass rate for Islamic Jurisprudence was 70 percent, followed by Civil Law-I at 59 percent, Urdu General and Urdu Essay at 57 percent, and Civil Law-II at 54 percent.
The lowest pass rate was recorded in English General and English Essay, with only 149 out of 1,024 candidates, or 15 percent, passing. In General Knowledge, 318 of 1,005 candidates passed, giving a pass rate of 32 percent.
Documents and Re-Totalling
The three successful candidates have been directed to submit their required documents, along with the duly signed Documents Submission Proforma available on the KPPSC website, so that the documents reach the Commission by October 15, 2026.
Detailed Marks Certificates for unsuccessful candidates have also been made available on the KPPSC website.
Candidates wishing to apply for re-totalling of their marks may submit an application along with a Rs500 challan per paper deposited under the relevant account at the National Bank of Pakistan.
According to the Commission, requests for re-totalling must be submitted within 15 days of the result announcement and applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.
