The Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) has announced seven job opportunities for professionals and drivers in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The latest vacancies include senior management positions as well as driver posts, offering monthly salaries ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 480,000.
According to the details, PMA has opened one position for Director Operations for the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System in Lahore, one vacancy for Deputy Director IT for the Pakistan Metro Bus System in Rawalpindi, and five Driver positions in Lahore.
The selected candidate for the Director Operations position will receive a gross monthly salary of Rs. 480,000, including benefits and applicable taxes. Applicants must have a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with relevant transportation engineering courses from an HEC-recognized institution. Moreover, candidates must have at least eight years of relevant experience, while those with leadership experience in public transport projects will be preferred. The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years.
Similarly, PMA is offering the Deputy Director IT position with a gross monthly salary of Rs. 325,000. Candidates applying for this post must hold 16 years of education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution. In addition, applicants need eight years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment, while experience in technical specifications, contracts, and procurement documents will be considered an advantage. The age limit for this position is also 45 years.
