LAHORE: Veteran stage actor and comedian Asif Iqbal has passed away at the age of 60, according to family sources.
Asif Iqbal reportedly suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. He was originally from Gujranwala.
He had been associated with theatre for several years and earned popularity for his distinctive acting style, spontaneous delivery and memorable comic roles.
He remained a familiar name in the theatre industry and was recognised for his lively performances and unique sense of humour.
