SWABI: Former Cultural Secretary of Pakhtun Student Federation and Youth Minister for Mines and Mineral, Tauqir Abbas, registered an FIR against former ANP leader Syed Masoom Shah Bacha.

Tauqir Abbas, nephew of former local leaders of the Awami National Party and former culture secretary of the Pakhtun Students Federation, University of Swabi, has decided to take legal action against Syed Masoom Shah Bacha.

According to Tauqir Abbas, who is the nephew of former senior vice president of Awami National Party Tehsil Topi Muhammad Tauqir and former deputy general secretary of District Islamabad Atiqur Rehman. Syed Masoom Shah Bacha has allegedly made false and baseless allegations against ANP workers and leaders on social media and other platforms. He says that these allegations have not only affected the reputation of the party workers but are also creating misunderstandings and tension in the area.

Tauqir Abbas alleged that Syed Masoom Shah Bacha used words for ANP workers and leaders in which he was called “Qadiani”. According to him, such a sensitive allegation made in religious terms not only damages personal honour and reputation but can also pose potential threats to the lives and property of the people involved.

Talking to the media, Tauqeer Abbas said that he will register a formal FIR in this matter at the Secretariat Police Station of Islamabad. He demanded that a complete and impartial investigation be conducted into the matter. Action should be taken against the responsible persons as per the law so that in the future, any person will think before making such provocative and sensitive allegations.

Tauqeer Abbas said that such allegations can lead to chaos and unrest in society. Allegations made in the name of religion are sensitive in nature and can affect communal harmony. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the path of law, and legal action should be initiated against Masoom Shah.
