ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has carried out what Information Minister Attaullah Tarar described as “precise aerial and drone strikes” against alleged terrorist hideouts and support infrastructure at 10 locations in areas under the control of the Afghan Taliban regime.
In a statement posted on social media on Thursday, Tarar said the strikes comprehensively destroyed terrorist hideouts and support facilities, including drone launching and storage sites.

According to the minister, the targeted locations were linked to attacks inside Pakistan against civilians as well as what he described as a recently foiled drone intrusion by the Afghan Taliban regime on September 23.
Tarar said Pakistan would continue to defend its territorial integrity and protect the lives and property of its citizens against what he described as externally sponsored, sheltered and supported threats posed by terrorist proxies.
The minister shared footage alongside his statement, purportedly showing the aerial and drone strikes.
