CHARSADDA: Sofian, popularly known as Sheen Khali, a well-known TikTok creator and social media influencer, has passed away. Among the transgender community, he was also affectionately known as Sofian Koko. His sudden demise has left fans and followers expressing deep sorrow across social media platforms.
As per reports, Sofian suffered from some kind of disease related to the kidneys for a few days and died despite medical intervention.
The TikTok creator had gathered more than a million followers on the social media application and had been working as an actor in Charsadda Vines and dramas for the last three years.
He was buried after offering funeral prayers in Charsadda. People from the local community had participated in the funeral prayer session.
In light of his death, people are using social media platforms to pay their respects to him.
TikToker booked for filming women shoppers in markets
Earlier, Mansehra police on Tuesday arrested a TikToker for allegedly filming women shoppers in local markets and uploading indecent videos on the social media platform TikTok.
According to a statement issued by the police media wing, the suspect, identified as Baidar Riaz, was taken into custody after he recorded videos of women shoppers and shared them online.
Police said they had also arrested several social media influencers in the past for uploading videos while brandishing weapons.
Former district police officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur, currently posted in Haripur, had launched a crackdown on social media influencers accused of producing immoral and anti-state content, leading to multiple arrests.
