RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the General Headquarters (GHQ), where military leadership briefed him on the situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

He stated that there should be zero tolerance for the nexus and malicious actions of the Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime, stating that their actions against Pakistan are unacceptable.

The Prime Minister acknowledged that the Pakistani armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, are always prepared to protect the country. He affirmed that Pakistan knows how to defend itself against any aggression.

He praised the professional capabilities of the Pakistani armed forces for successfully repelling attacks by the Afghan Taliban regime in border areas and for their vigorous retaliatory actions. The Prime Minister concluded by stating that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces to safeguard the homeland.
