ISLAMABAD: The government has once again increased the prices of petroleum products.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 6.88 per litre, taking the new price to Rs 391.22 per litre.

The price of diesel has also been raised by Rs 5.62 per litre, with the new price reaching Rs 421.45 per litre.

The Petroleum Division said the revised prices will be applicable for September 17.

The latest increase is expected to add further pressure on motorists and consumers amid already elevated fuel prices.
