The Balochistan government has decided to accelerate efforts to train 30,000 young people for employment opportunities abroad, as part of its broader initiative to promote technical education and skills development.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA), chaired by Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.
During the meeting, officials briefed participants that the institute registration portal had become operational. They also informed the meeting that a plan to provide technical training to 25,000 young people in various fields had been approved.
The meeting also decided to speed up progress on the programme aimed at equipping 30,000 young people with professional skills to help them secure employment opportunities in foreign countries.
In addition, the provincial government decided to take action against those responsible for delays in achieving the targets of the Chief Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme.
Sarfraz Bugti directed the relevant authorities to ensure that young people receive technical and vocational training in line with modern requirements and labour market needs.
The initiative aims to improve the employability of Balochistan’s youth by equipping them with skills suited to both domestic and international job markets.
