Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that modern warfare and tactical strategies are changing rapidly, in view of which military officers must always be aware of emerging modern technologies and future combat challenges.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), he expressed these views while addressing the officers and faculty members present there during his visit to the Command and Staff College Quetta. Upon his arrival in Quetta, Corps Commander Quetta gave a warm welcome to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

During his address, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highly appreciated the high training standards of the Command and Staff College and the professionalism of the faculty. He emphasized that in the context of the changing security situation, continuous learning and access to the latest defence sciences have become indispensable to deal with traditional and non-traditional threats.

“The Pakistan Army is determined to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism with the unconditional and full support of the people of the country. There will be no compromise on the security of Pakistan.”

He further said that those trying to destabilize the country cannot stop Pakistan’s journey of development through propaganda, fake news or foreign-sponsored terrorism. He made it clear that the hostile forces that are creating obstacles in the path of Pakistan’s development will be defeated and defeated as always.

Speaking on the security and socio-economic situation of Balochistan, the Field Marshal said that the long-term development and sustainable peace of the province depend directly on public welfare and good governance. He appreciated the ongoing initiatives and sincere efforts of the Balochistan government for public welfare and socio-economic development.

At the end of the visit, he also paid tribute to the high morale, unwavering determination and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army personnel deployed on the front lines to restore peace and stability in the province and protect the lives and property of the people.
