Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Jamia Abul Qasim Tablighi Markaz, where he met with the organizers and reviewed the security and other arrangements.
During the gathering, special prayers were also offered for peace, stability and national unity in the country.
A large number of people from across the country are participating in the 3-day gathering at the Tablighi Markaz in Islamabad, during which more than 250,000 participants are expected to arrive.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Jamia Abul Qasim Tablighi Markaz in Islamabad, where he was welcomed by Akbarins Yousuf Qureshi, Abdul Rehman Qureshi and Deputy In-Charge Shura Dr. Saleem of Raiwind and Rawalpindi Tablighi Markazes.
The Interior Minister met the Tablighi Ijtima leaders and thanked the organizers for postponing the gathering during the talks in Islamabad. He said that the organizers of the Tablighi Ijtima have always played a positive role, which is appreciated.
Mohsin Naqvi also took a briefing on the security and traffic arrangements made for the gathering. He said that an effective security and traffic plan has been drawn up for the gathering so that all possible facilities can be provided to the participants.
He also appreciated the role of the Tablighi Ijtima leaders in promoting religious harmony and national unity and said that these gatherings play an important role in promoting social reform and brotherhood.
The Interior Minister announced that the organizers of the Tablighi Ijtima will also be invited for a special lecture at the Police Lines. On this occasion, a special prayer was also offered for peace, stability and development in the country. The gathering will conclude with a special prayer on Sunday morning.
The Chief Commissioner Islamabad, IG Islamabad Police, Deputy Commissioner, DIG Operations, Additional Deputy Commissioner General and other senior officers were also present during the visit.
