KALAM: Millions of tourists are expected to arrive in Kalam Valley on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, for which the hotel industry, district administration, and local business circles have intensified preparations.

Natural beauty, pleasant weather, flowing waterfalls, lush mountains, and cool atmosphere are attracting tourists from all over the country every year.

President Kalam Hotel Association Dr. Abdul Wadood, while talking to the media, said that an extraordinary rush of tourists is expected in Kalam and its surroundings during Eid. He said that special instructions have been issued to all big and small hotels in Kalam to provide the best accommodation facilities to the tourists so that the visiting guests return with pleasant memories.

Dr. Abdul Wadood announced that hotel owners will make additional arrangements for the convenience of tourists during the Eid days, which will include providing clean rooms, quality food, a safe environment for families, and special arrangements to deal with emergencies. He said that Kalam’s tourism industry plays an important role in the local economy, and tourists come again and again because of its beauty and hospitality.

He added that a large number of tourists are also expected at Ushu, Utraur, Mahodand Lake, Mataltan, Gabral, and other tourist destinations, due to which they are in full contact with the administration for traffic management, cleanliness, and security. He said that all the relevant institutions are active to provide a safe and peaceful environment for the tourists.

The President of the Hotel Association appealed to the tourists to ensure hotel booking before the trip, follow traffic rules, and take special care of cleanliness to maintain the natural beauty of the valley. He said that the people of Kalam are enthusiastic to welcome their guests, and it is hoped that tourism will increase significantly during Eid al-Adha.
