ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Metro Bus Service remained fully suspended on Tuesday due to security-related arrangements in the federal capital.
According to Metro Bus authorities, the service will remain unavailable throughout the day and is expected to resume operations at 7:00 PM. The suspension affects commuters across the Metro Bus network in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Officials stated that Metro Bus operations from the President Station to Faizabad have been temporarily halted as part of enhanced security measures.
The closure is linked to security protocols implemented in connection with the arrival of a high-profile foreign delegation in the capital.
Authorities have advised commuters to make alternate travel arrangements and follow official updates regarding the restoration of services.
The Metro Bus Service is expected to return to normal operations once the security situation allows and the temporary restrictions are lifted.
