PESHAWAR, August 24, 2026: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established a dedicated Complaints Cell in the Transport and Mass Transit Department to address public grievances and improve the quality of transport services across the province.
The initiative has been launched on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the department saying the new mechanism is aimed at ensuring greater transparency and providing timely relief to citizens facing transport-related problems.
According to an official notification, Additional Secretary Fayyaz Alam will head the Complaints Cell. Deputy Secretary Policy Muhammad Islam, Section Officer Pervez Khan and Senior Clerk Owais-ur-Rehman have been appointed as its members.
The cell will receive complaints about fare irregularities, misbehavior, substandard vehicles, route-related issues, overloading and other problems related to public transport. Citizens can lodge complaints through the department’s online portal, email or helpline.
