PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department has ordered immediate transfers and postings of four senior police officers in the public interest.
According to a notification issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 24, 2026, the transfers were made under Section 17(4) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Act, 2017.Dr. Fasihuddin PSP BS-20, who was awaiting posting at CPO Peshawar, has been posted as Additional Inspector General of Police Training, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khan PSP BS-20, previously serving as Additional IGP Training, has been transferred as Director General of the Coordination Unit for Implementation of Law and Order Initiatives in KP Police. Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Afridi PSP BS-20, on arrival from the Establishment Division Islamabad, has been posted as Regional Police Officer Bannu Region. Mr. Rabnawaz Khan PSP BS-19, former Regional Police Officer Bannu Region, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General Investigation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The notification was signed by Zulfiqar Hameed PSP, Provincial Police Officer, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to the Accountant General KP, concerned DIGs, RPO Bannu, Establishment Division Islamabad and other relevant authorities for compliance.The reshuffle comes as part of routine administrative changes within the provincial police force.
