PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police has announced the transfer and posting of several senior police officers across the province.

According to an official notification issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on August 3, 2026, multiple officers of the rank of PSP (BS-18) and DSP (BS-17) have been assigned new responsibilities.

Under the notification, Mr Khan Zeb, PSP (BS-18), has been appointed as District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur after serving as awaiting posting at the Central Police Office (CPO), Peshawar.

Mr Muhammad Ashfaq, PSP (BS-18), has been transferred from SSP Investigation CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and posted as DPO South Waziristan Upper.

Syed Mukhtiar Shah, PSP (BS-18), has been transferred from DPO Torghar and appointed as Director Police Training School (PTS) Shakas Khyber.

Mr Shah Hassan, PSP (BS-18), previously serving as SP Traffic Warden Kohat, has been posted as DPO South Waziristan Lower.

Meanwhile, Mr Muhammad Khalid, PSP (BS-18), has been transferred from DPO Bajaur and appointed as AIG Logistics at CPO Peshawar.

Mr Arshad Khan, PSP (BS-18), has been posted as DPO Torghar after serving as DPO South Waziristan Upper.

Mr Muhammad Tahir Shah, PSP (BS-18), has been appointed as SP Investigation Bannu after being transferred from the post of DPO South Waziristan Lower.

In addition, Mr Sajid Mumtaz, DSP (BS-17), has been transferred from SP Investigation Bannu and posted as SP Headquarters Mardan.

The notification was issued under the authority of Provincial Police Officer Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, PSP, and endorsed by Deputy Inspector General of Police Headquarters Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat, PSP.
