Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi reached Swat on Monday following the deadly suicide blast at Kabal Police Station.
Chairman DDC Swat Akhtar Khan Advocate, along with members of the provincial and national assembly, were also with him. The Chief Minister will review the situation, meet officials and visit the injured in hospitals.
The explosion killed 17 people, including seven police personnel and 10 civilians, while 3 of the injured are said to be in critical condition.CM Sohail Afridi said that anti-peace elements will not be allowed to succeed in their evil plans and that for the peace of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the police and security forces will be fully supported. Security across Swat has been tightened after the incident.
