PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established a dedicated complaint cell in the Planning and Development (P&D) Department as part of its efforts to strengthen transparency and combat corruption.
According to an official notification, Assistant Director IT Habibullah has been appointed as the in-charge of the complaint cell.
The cell will receive complaints from the public through the department’s official landline, email and written applications. Each complaint will be formally registered and assigned a unique tracking number to facilitate monitoring and follow-up.
The notification states that complaints will be forwarded to the relevant section or wing for prompt resolution, while the complaint cell’s in-charge will submit daily progress reports to the Secretary of the Planning and Development Department.
In addition, the complaint cell will send a performance report to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Secretariat every 15 days.
The government has assured that the personal information of complainants will remain strictly confidential throughout the complaint handling process.
