PESHAWAR: The Anti-Corruption Department has launched an inquiry into recent recruitment at Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), seeking complete records related to appointments made to three key administrative positions.

According to sources, the department has also initiated an investigation into a complaint regarding the recruitment of a physiotherapist at the hospital.

The HMC administration has been directed to provide all relevant documents, including records from the issuance of the job advertisement to the final appointment.

The inquiry covers the appointments of the Director Finance, Chief Internal Auditor, and Director Procurement.

The Anti-Corruption Department has requested the selection committee’s meeting minutes, merit lists, candidates’ details, and other related documents as part of the investigation.

The probe is aimed at examining whether the recruitment process complied with the applicable rules and procedures.
