PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has released the agenda for its budget session, outlining key legislative and financial proceedings for the day.
According to the agenda, the session will commence with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH), and the national anthem. This will be followed by leave applications from members and official announcements by the Speaker.
The Provincial Finance Minister is scheduled to present the Annual Budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 before the House. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Bill 2026 will also be tabled during the session.
In addition, the Finance Minister will seek approval for the supplementary budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.
The budget session is expected to feature important proposals concerning the province’s fiscal priorities, revenue generation measures, and development expenditures, which will be presented for discussion before the Assembly.
