ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs1.65 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs389.14 per litre.
The government has also cut the price of diesel by 88 paisas per litre. Following the reduction, diesel will now be available at Rs424.04 per litre.
According to the Petroleum Division, the revised petrol and diesel prices will remain applicable for September 19, 20 and 21.
The notification stated that the prices have been linked to prevailing petroleum rates in the international market.
